Product Description
From vineyards of Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio cultivated on soils of volcanic origin, sandy, rich in skeleton and organic substances. Arranged in terraces. On the South / East side of the Etna Volcano at 760 m a.s.l. Surrounded by chestnut, oak and gorse woods that give the vineyard a medium temperate microclimate ideal for the ripening of the grapes, with strong temperature changes, between day and night. For over ten years organic farming has been practiced, regularly certified. The grapes vinified in red wine in thermo-controlled tanks with a pre-fermentative maceration period with pomace, and a subsequent period of maturation in steel tanks for 8 months. Aging in barriques for 3 months and not less than 12 in bottle. Intense ruby red. Complex with hints of berries, black cherry and tertiary hints given by aging. Full, warm, moderately tannic, harmonious and with a pleasant persistence.
